God Of War - Ascension....what can I say??
Hellish game! (As in great, not the other way......why do people associate 'hell' with 'bad'???)
Gameplay is the same, a third-person action RPG, battle mythological creatures, defy the Gods....because they fucking suck.....yes I'm an atheist, what are you going to do about that???!! XD
There are the three types of orbs for health, magic and weapon...
Gory damage is seen (YESSSSSS!!!).......no censored shit!
My favourite creature would be the Cerberus.......3-headed doggie, simply delightful =D
The extra feature would be the online Multiplayer mode, and you do see some of the monsters you see in single-player mode....not all...which comes in four modes
Puzzle-solving but not too difficult, we're Spartans!!!
Kratos uses the Blade of Chaos, same same here....
What's different is we could use new weapons we find (from fallen enemies, just random crap on the ground) for a limited period of time and can be included into combo attacks for different animations, without them, Kratos just punches/kicks, somehow he's forgotten how to pick stuff up and use them in the sequels.......so have fun experimenting...
We could reinforce our weapons with elements (fire/ice/thunder/darkness), if you've played previous installments (though this is a prequel..), you'll know their names.....
This reinforcement affects the Rage ability you perform, and it's easier this time around to replenish your Rage meter, do it by killing enemies off...
New artifacts have been added so keep an eye out for them, some of them make New Game + more fun....(*cough* *cough* *unlimited magic*)
There are also new relics which grant Kratos new abilities...like the diversion ability where you distract your enemies with a clone (Kage-bunshin no jutsu!!!!!)...
It's great fun and the story is interesting, as we go behind the scenes of Kratos's past...
Graphics good, music mehhh.....but fun to play.....sweet sweet bloody brutality....
Ares is a --------------------------...........enough said....
There's a new Multiplayer mode (Bout Of Honor update) which focuses on mano-o-mano combat, featuring five new levels, to be released soon I guess...
