5 Personalities And A Chicken Ain't One

Welcome Sleipnirs, to my humble Persona 5 review!

First of all, daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn Igor!
Looks like you have been taking lots of steroids........that voice.........that VOICE!
Truthfully, I love the old Igor voice.
Sorry ladies, I just ain't into that pimp voice!
I'm not sure if Igor's voice as well as the Velvet Room change to reflect the protagonist's heart but he nailed it hard.

I'll just go straight to the point - I LOVE this game!
Not like but LOOOOOOVE! Rabu rabu!!!
The music is great, wonderful characters and wonderful story.
Nothing much in terms of animation because it's just the usual advancement in tech.
On-screen avatars are more refined and the animation parts are the same.
I played this on the PS4 by the way.
Classic Persona game here!
I like the battle system, everything is straight to the point, no need for too much scrolling.
Exploiting enemies' weaknesses is always THE thing to do if you want to win.
Unless you're fighting psycho battles like Elizabeth or Margaret!!! FUCK YOU BITCHES!
Anyway, you can now pass the extra turn from weakness exploitation to your friend if you don't have the skills to finish it off or you just want to, using Baton Pass.
This can turn the tide of battle, so keep this in mind.

Unfortunately, you can't grind in previous dungeons (called Palace, by the way) because you can't go back.
Fear not though because you can get the Personas you miss in something called Mementos.
You'll see.

I've always loved Persona games because the creators behind this franchise just know how to freshen the installments up and this one is no different.
We start out as criminals!
A high school kid but a criminal!
A bad-ass one that is!!

Noctis Leonhart is BACK baby!
To clarify, I name all my name-able Persona protagonists Noctis Leonhart!
My Persona 3 and Persona 4 were all about Noctis!
Why?
Because they don't ever say anything, they are the quiet, cool, MacDaddy protagonist type!
One minute into the game and already a hot babe is after me!

I love my first Persona, Arsene!
He looks really cool.
Personas have their voices now!
Yep, they can say stuff, why not right?
I think it's a nice addition.
I like how the enemies turn from fatty-boom-ba-laddies into Pixies.
The flow of the animations man......it's so cool.
The Shadows are very much refined in this game.
Of course.....they have to bring the Shadow negotiations back.
This system is called 'Hold Up'.
Time to deal with PMS-ing Shadows!
Let the frustration begin!
Give you my SP when you ask for it BUT YOU SAID NO AND PENALIZED ME!!!

Er hmm hmmm! Anyway, I have a blonde friend again!
Not that I don't like blondies.
I like Kanji.....................ohhhhh..................
Yeah, they are the same black-haired blondies.
Is Ryuji voiced by the guy who voiced Adachi?
I love that voice........grrrrr...........
Anyway, like every Persona game, there is the Social Link system or Confidant system.
This time, it's a mix between P3 and P4.
This is all my opinion, just putting this here.
I find that P3 Social Links were really difficult to deal with and P4 had an easier system to deal with.
In P3, you just don't know if you can advance to the next rank or not. You can give gifts to speed up but their overall schedules were just bad but same locations though whenever they are available. That means when school's out, low chances of leveling up with school mates.
In P4, you can't give gifts but you can tell when you can advance, just make sure you choose the right options in the Level Up scenes and their locations are pretty much the same except during weekends.
In P5, haha! You have to know the good hangout spots for your Confidants (like what gifts in P3 does) and their locations change quite often (kind of like P4).
One thing remains the same though, equip the Persona with the Arcana that matches your Confidant's for extra friendship points.

I like how we have over-world actions now like jumping and warping (like Noctis, so appropriate!).

That's pretty much all I can say, I don't want to spoil anymore.
Everything is pretty much the same.
Like always, you have limited time to spend with your friends so make full use of each time period, literally.
Can't use minute or second here.
The first few days are all tutorials.
There's always a pervy teacher and a teacher that sighs a lot at students' delinquent behaviours even though their job is to nurture students.
Morooka is an idiot.
Each dungeon is unique and they have their themed puzzles.
One thing though, P5 dungeons are huge and have lots of side paths.
P3 was dreary and P4 was linear and straightforward and like the Social Link system, P5 is a mix between the two.
There are dark themes and life lessons you can learn, typical Persona!
This is why this game is awesome.
It keeps it real!

Persona games are all about the plot and the twists!
Just sit back and relax and enjoy the story.

Nice pink G-string by the way Kamoshida.
I would really like one for my Lolita getup.
Don't know why I was so fixated on his pinky panty when I was about to be murdered by his General.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the game!
Let me know what you think!

Till next time Sleipnirs!
