So, a new, different, non-cliche horror game could be in the making....and I'm pretty excited =)
Because they say it would be different from others....
By different, they mean they are not going to include typical horror elements, the infamous one being mentally-challenged people.....(Silent Hill, Alice..etc)
Apparently, in the eyes of the general public, crazy/psychotic people or people who just aren't normal (by the society's standards) are scary....I don't know how that came to be but.......ok! I'm clearly a horror game character then and I'm proud! =)
The game event is Asylum Jam, the creators insist on changing people's views on mental health through this game...I think this will be interesting...
It runs from 11th-13th Oct......join it if you have ideas =)

It just came back to me when they announced the Deluxe Edition....which includes the OST, game art thingamabob, Gyossait's prototype, the unreleased prequel (Uzaza), some trivia stuff and three other games which are Au Sable, All Of Our Friends Are Dead, and The Hunt...

Okie dokie, lots of people have been playing this and thought I would put my two cents here for I can't resist........jeeberz! I'm trying to be special by doing different stuff.....but then again...I'm already special in a mental way...so heck! Why not right!!?? XD
This game is sort of BI-memory-inducing, Guns Of Icarus (Online) - due to steam machines here and there...and the colour palette....
It's just a casual F/TPS game which makes co-op a must, because when you're alone, nothing happens...
My bros and I game-banged this and had lots of fun.....then again, all games are fun when played with other people but not necessary........however, this game, it's a MUST!
It just didn't feel exciting......
So yeah....you have classes to choose from, one to maneuver the ships (pilot/could be captain), fix stuff destroyed by your opponents (engineer) and eliminate enemies (gunner).....
It's pretty much an airship warfare/pirating game where you just intercept the enemy in their route as they stick their nose in your business/cargo......
And you could get weapon upgrades like the Tesla gun...for every level completed....(most of the time.....)......
Pretty backgrounds........could use a few sharpening here and there.....very orange-y....
So it's just man your station and destroy the enemy's ships, what I do like though is the effects put in place to make things tougher like the weather (makes it blurry) and varying degree of attack patterns and shortcomings of damages your ship has taken like lower speed if the engines are busted......
Unfortunately....the big boss battle isn't much of a challenge....I'm sorry...
It could be more interesting if there is a larger variety of weapons and ship designs and more to just shooting here and there to win......BUT they aren't too bad as they are now....=)
It's pretty much casual-gaming fun......
